Hasselbeck has what, 1, 2, maybe 3 seasons left?  None of them being the force he once was.  Locker has shown no promising signs and given me no reason to believe he can be a successful NFL franchise QB.

Taking a chance on the guy who would have been the second QB taken last year had he declared and had a down year due to poor coaching and injuries (mostly, I can admit he regressed some) is well worth the third rounder.

Locker was out almost half the season with a shoulder injury. And if you wouldve seen the games he played the season before as a rookie playing against the Saints, there is some potenial. I have the upmost confidence in Locker to turn around this team.
First we need a defensive line that can get pressure on the qb. and some decent Corners, especially with Verner entering his contract year.
FYI: if locker would have went Pro a year eariler he would have been the #1 overall draft pick.

Sam Bradford would have a few things to say about that statement lol.

Even if he would, going #1 overall over Sam Bradford doesn't even come CLOSE to comparing to going #2 between Luck and RGIII.

EDIT: over...not to....lol

EDIT2: Also, don't think I'm hating on Locker. I love Locker, I hope he does turn it around and I hope he does have success, I just haven't seen anything so far, even in his "good" games, that gives me any real confidence.

The hype was around him and Bradford but he decided to stay another year in Washington.
But i will agree with that last statement.. RGIII and Luck will no doubt have better careers in the NFL

And check that edit. I liked Locker a lot coming out of college. I wanted him in AZ actually, I just don't see it now though. Thought he could pull it together, unfortunately, I've been wrong thus far.

8. Buffalo (6-10) – Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia

But yes, this QB class is horrid.

Joeckel? That's a lot better than the QBs you had us getting earlier. I like the revision. I hope it's accurate

Again, these are for the most part just my thoughts of what I'd like to see happen.

If I had to guess, I would say its going to come down to one of these for the Chiefs depending on who they like most.

Geno
Joeckel
Fisher
Moore
Star
Ansah
Werner

I know that's a fairly obvious statement to make but I'm just saying I don't think their intentions will ever really be clear cut since there is no true #1 pick this year. Any of those guys could be an understandable option at #1, Werner being the stretch but still not a crazy selection.

If a top 2 ILB is avail, i can almost guarantee the bears scoop them up... There's no way they pass on a position of need to take a much less skilled position of need.

Nick Roach will never be a true NFL talent in the 4-3, he could probably perform decently in a 3-4.
