No, the Steelers would never intentionally lose. If we lose one game we can lose the AFC North and end up being a Wild Card team. We need that bye week badly. I just don't think you will see the Steelers going all out in terms of defensive and offensive schemes because I've seen them use a very basic scheme on both ends late in the season against teams that they have a chance of playing in the playoffs for years now. Titans in 2008 was a perfect example of holding back.

Steelers won't hold back. But the game will be closer then people think.

also it'll be one of those like 13-10 or 16-13 games that the jets lose because of nick folk or something. i'm not saying the jets would lose in a blowout, though it's hard to predict that because I thought they'd do better vs. the Pats (and better vs.Miami), but yeah. of course i hope the jets will win. i just expect/think/feel that they will, as i said, "most likely" lose.

Ben might not be that good but the Steelers have won with good defense - it's taken them very far, and I'd say it's playing better than the Jets D has. The Jets will have a miscommunication and dropped coverage on like 1 or 2 plays that end up being huge gains if not TDs for the steelers, and it'll create a small hole the jets never dig themselves out of (or if they do it'll be a similar thing, some 82 yard td pass to holmes)

meh i like the jets chances. if you pull off a win today, in for sure. pretty much comes down to what team gets what seed

And with Sanchez's 4th down TD run, that should really secure in people's minds the kinds of things this offense needs to do in order to score...
It might work once or twice here, but I can't see them doing this forever.

Either way, 17-17, game already has a lot more points I thought it would... I must admit I fucked up there pretty bad.
