For future reference a good way to do it is quickly look up the odds on the books then average them, like Lakeshow did in his example of -150/+130 averaging to 10k vs 14k
That's generally considered "fair" and you won't catch any trolling for it.
That being said you can post whatever line you want! Who cares, it takes two to tango. In this case you were ready to short yourself about 1/3 of your payout because you didn't take 10 seconds to determine the sports books posted odds for the game. You've obviously seen lakeshow's topic, he has a link for odds posted there.
