I hear that, just wanted to make a forum page for people to post all the fishy shit that goes on as it goes on and discuss, etc. I find the topic interesting and not very farfetched since anything with billions of dollars in it is usually controlled. The past 5 years of football have had some pretty head scratching, almost obvious it's rigged flags thrown etc. I'm not saying it's 100% scripted but heavily influenced by vegas...which essentially is the same thing. Just wanna see what others have seen heard etc.

I enjoy watching football but I just don't feel like it's a worthy endeavour to care about it being tainted by corruption and greed.

I'd rather spend what little emotional currency I can muster these days hating other things.......like Muslims, young people, filthy woke ideologies, Chinese people, taxes, people who don't clean up after their dogs, Tesla drivers, bagged milk, people who send me tiktok videos, crying children, old people who are desperately lonely and want to chat up the cashier, slow drivers, Albanians, rising costs of living, people conducting a call in public on speakerphone, cities, drug addicts, welfare, spam calls, company-wide emails about inclusion and diversity, diversity hires, Christmas, excel tables, friendly neighbors, cigarette smokers, anything labeled "artisanal", fat people, mosquitos, etc

Unfortunately these refs are checked good enough, alot of flags during curical drives etc.
Refs aren't held accountable for mistakes either , league apologies but nothing comes off it

over 100k people employed by the nfl/teams, the money doesnt add up to pay EVERYONE to be quiet for EVER? especially considering the NFL is over 100 years old. so at what point did it become rigged? 06?


second the gambling argument that its all scripted... no gambling site allows betting on WWE, why is that?

i think to a point it may be because how in the hell can oddsmakers be so accurate at times and more often than not the deciding push or cover/blown cover occurs within the last couple of minutes

you realize 98% of people within the org could have no idea and it would still be possible? Really it’s only the deciding refs/who ever their micd up to in NY can alter an outcome drastically.

It’s not the player who drops the ball or fails a tackle who’d be in on it, it’s the ref calling a soft 15 yarder with 2 minutes left on a 3rd and long to magically get a spread covered

you know each front office has 150+ employees in legal/marketing/ect who all have family they go home to? someone would have physical proof of a script. that's the point i'm making, and someone would have shown it by now.

your blaming the refs/NY (NFL employees) controlling the outcome of a game....

so in your example, ref gets the call from NY to throw a ghost roughing the passer. gives offense 15 yards and a 1st down... the players still have to make said plays to "cover" the spread. seems like players would have to be in on it on BOTH sides of the ball, which in turn coaches would have to be in on it too. you cant pick and choose who you think is in on it because at the end of the day the players either make the plays to cover/win or they dont. refs cant give points to teams but they can put them in a better position. they still have to execute.
