What an OUTSTANDING showing by the starters. Up 17-7

-Eli was lights out... played outstanding. 17 for 21, 148 yards, 1 TD, (2 drops).

-D-Line got good pressure and JPP didn't play.
-Kiwi is becoming a very good LB
-Reuben Randle and DAVID WILSON are steals of the draft...... been saying it all off season
-DAVID WILSON is a M-O-N-S-T-E-R!!!!!! My lord..... this guy has SPEED, can receive, BALANCE, can absorb severe hits and stay on his feet, did I mention he's FAST? Holy.....
-Cruzzzzz was a stud as usual
-RAMSES BARDEN! Yes........ finally breaks out and shows his talent. He was balling out there. Finally healthy
-Hixon is such a good #3/#4 receiver
-Linval Joseph is so strong....... so strong... guy gets CONSTANT push
-Osiiiiiii... my boy Osi is just an absolute BEAST
-Martellus Bennett aka The BLACK UNICORN!! Guy is going to BALL out there this season

Good luck to opposing defense trying to stop:

-Nicks - Cruz - Randle - Barden - Hixon .. any combo of that bunch. Then of course you still have Jernigan.

-O-line didn't look too bad... opened some nice holes in the run game and pass protection ... eh was decent

I'm worried about our CB depth... Prince has a high ankle sprain...

All in all I'm VERY confident we will beat the Cowboys week 1

Feel free to point anything out.

You get to see the "homerism" week one when we tread all over.

Coughlin didn't like hearing "high ankle" for Prince but told a mild one so "perhaps it's not going to take as much time to get back."

TWEETS:

Amukamara:

It’s a mild high ankle sprain. They didn’t tell me an expected time of recovery, but how I feel right now it’s a huge improvement

Quote
Amukamara is in a protective boot. Says he feels better today & will begin treatment tomorrow. Won't give timetable #NYG

"It did happen the play before on Hester’s reverse. I kind of got rolled up when I was blocking Marshall. I told Corey, Corey asked if I was good and I told him I’m not sure and he told me to go down but I didn’t want to go down on the field. I always stay a play after just to see how serious it was and I guess the Bears heard me say that I was hurt and they tried to come after me on the next play. So that wasn’t smart. Then I made a good tackle and I stayed down.

No surprise, but Travis Beckum said he'll start the regular season on PUP. That means six weeks sidelined.

OG Brandon Mosley (ankle) said he will practice, but he'll be limited. #NYG

Jayron Hosley out of the protective boot #NYG

Linval Joseph on DT depth: "We got more bodies now. I feel like we have enough guys to get it done." Said Kuhn gets better every game. #NYG

Adewale Ojomo on his sacks: "I did it the week before, I did it this past week, and I’m going to do it again this week. "

Quote
DE Adewale Ojomo's prediction for the Patriots: pain. "I wouldn’t be surprised if I went out & had a couple more sacks this game." #NYG

Lol, love this guy.

How the hell do you pick a 53 man roster this season...... we have SO many talented players everywhere......

QB

1-Eli Manning
2-David Carr

RB/HB

3-Ahmad Bradshaw
4-David Wilson
5-DJ Ware
6-Henry Hynoski

WR

7-Hakeem Nicks
8-Victor Cruz
9-Rueben Randle
10-Domenik Hixon

TE

11-Martellus Bennett
12-Bear Pascoe
13-Adrien Robinson

OL

14-Will Beatty
15-Kevin Boothe
16-David Baas
17-Chris Snee
18-David Diehl
19-Sean Locklear
20-Mitch Petrus
21-James Brewer

DE

22-Jason Pierre-Paul
23-Justin Tuck
24-Osi Umenyiora
25-Adrian Tracy

DT

26-Chris Canty
27-Linval Joseph
28-Rocky Bernard
29-Marvin Austin

LB

30-Michael Boley
31-Chase Blackburn
32-Mathias Kiwanuka
33-Keith Rivers
34-Jacquain Williams
35-Mark Herzlich
36-Spencer Paysinger
37-Greg Jones

CB

38-Corey Webster
39-Terrell Thomas
40-Jayron Hosley
41-Prince Amukamara
42-Michael Coe
(***Rolle counts as a CB too to save a roster spot)

S

43-Kenny Phillips
44-Antrel Rolle
45-Tyler Sash
46-Will Hill
(Sash on PED suspension so we'll need extra safeties & Rolle plays some CB...again)

K

47-Steve Weatherford
48-Lawrence Tynes

LS
49-Zak DeOssie

***PUP - Travis Beckum

THE BUBBLE BOYS (PICK 4)

1-Da'rel Scott
2-Andre Brown
3-Ramses Barden
4-David Douglas
5-Jerrel Jernigan
6-Brandon Mosley
7-Matt McCants
8-Dwayne Hendricks
9-Shaun Rogers
10-Markus Kuhn
11-Justin Tryon
12-Bruce Johnson
13-Antwuan Molden
14-Stevie Brown

Do we keep Sash? Greg Jones? Personally not a fan of either.

I think we have to keep Barden, Scott, Ojomo, & Kuhn.. can't let either of them walk. Ojomo and Kuhn would never stick on the PS... so many teams would snatch them immediately.

How do you cut jernigan though? You can't.... what the fuck..... you also definitely can't cut Barden because Barden is very talented and he's affirmed that this season.

We also need Bruce Johnson because of our injuries at CB.....

SO MANY tough decisions for Coughlin & Reese....

1. Toughest schedule in the league

2. OL was a mess

3. Worst run game in football

4. Defense was banged up/horrible most of the year

I'm so sick of people drooling over fantasy football stats to evaluate QBs. There is nothing Brady/Brees do that Eli can't --- NOTHING. There is no one in the league as clutch as Eli --- NO ONE.
