no reason to be surprised, we played soooooo conservative. we let them grind and bend us all night long. ill give it to ya we absolutely SHOULD have been prepared given the bye week and since seattle was on a short week, but it's almost like our gameplan was for a healthy russ and we just couldn't adjust. it's like we have a bunch of grinders but no playmakers on D. even mccourty, he's a beast and does his job but i wouldn't consider him a playmaker. butler had a solid performance too. we need guys to step up. a ninkovinch sack isn't going to cut it
