Actually just ended up watching the game yesterday for the first time cause we both had work and shit. Pretty disappointing game.
Here are my thoughts:
Schaub: Didn't look TOO bad. A little out of sync, but our receivers dropped like 3 passes from him.
MJD: I thought he looked good
Khalif Barnes: WHY IS HE STARTING OVER GABE JACKSON
LaMarr Woodley: Made some good plays, was in position a lot. Played well.
Justin Tuck: Kind of a no-show in this game. Over-pursue'd a little bit
Khalil Mack: Looked good rushing the passer, but wasn't the best against the run. Looked okay (fluid) in pass coverage.
Tarrell Brown: He was targeted a lot but he was always covering the guy well. Cordarrelle Patterson made some great plays against him.
Latavius Murray: Looked pretty impressive. It'll be interesting to see if he gets reps this year.
Chimdi Chekwa: By far our best player on defense in that game vs. Minnesota. Will be huge if he can replace Hayden well.
Carr: Looked good, moved in the pocket well. Threw good balls, that INT was bullshit.
All of our wide receivers looked AWFUL!!!!! Got absolutely zero separation all game. This was the primary reason our offense struggled.
