They could have just stopped making any picks after that, if that happened. They would have won the draft with those two picks alone.

this fan base can't do anything about it. we can't do anything but wait. caldwell and bradley sealed their fate with this pick, whether it's good or bad and only time will tell. it's going to be 3 years before we know what any of these qbs are regardless.

the biggest thing that gets me is that when you draft that high, you draft guys who step in from day one because you NEED guys who can play. you don't draft them with the plan of sitting them for a year to develop.

all that it means is that Bortles BETTER be the real deal after a year. I understand not wanting to ruin a QB by throwing him to the wolves before he's ready, which is what happened to Gabbert. I just feel if you don't think he can play from day 1, you don't draft him at #3 overall.
