yeah no doubt we will draft a guard shouldnt be too hard to find a good one mid round with the addition of beadles it at least solidifies our line some and hopefully joeckel recovers and starts playing up to his ability

Joeckel was having his best game of the season after he moved from RT to LT against the Rams. He was holding his own against Robert Quinn before he got hurt. The word is that he should be ready to go by the time camps start. The only good thing about him breaking his ankle, was that it happened early in the season so he had a lot of time to heal up.

Finding a guard in the draft is NP.

Weak class for Center though, and it takes a couple years for a center to get good. Travis Frederick is the exception.

I was just using Frederick as an example, since he was the most recent one to be a good day 1 starter. Mack himself was a first round, day 1 starter at center, and there other examples throughout history too.

There aren't any day-1 starters at C in this class though. Most of the starting centers in the league are later round draft picks who sat a few years and learned the position. It's going to be rough sledding for whichever team is stuck starting a rookie at center after this draft.

Has nothing to do with Blackmon if they deem Sammy the BAP at #3. Which after Clowney, you could definitely make an argument for Watkins being the BAP.

Could you imagine Watkins, Shorts, Blackmon and Ace all lined up  . Talk about the best receiving group in the league. Then you add big Marcedes Lewis in at TE as well.

Agreed 100%, but he's still a huge body you have to watch because he can make a play from time to time.

You see that Tandon Doss got arrested? rofl....

Jaguars receiver Tandon Doss, signed by the team last month, was not charged today after being arrested for disorderly conduct Wednesday in his hometown of Indianapolis.

Doss, 24, who was previously with the Baltimore Ravens, was taken into custody yesterday around 4 p.m.

The incident report said there was a “disturbance between two people … one who [was] out of control and was arrested for DOC [disorderly conduct].”

According to the report filed by the arresting officer, two men (ages 19 and 20) approached a patrol car and said the driver of a "black Dodge ... was following them."

The officer walked to Doss' car and Doss was yelling into a phone.

"Mr. Doss was very upset and started yelling at me," the officer wrote in his report. "I ordered him to place the car in park and shut the engine off. He refused. Due to the traffic jam, there was no place for him to go. I again ordered him to turn off the engine. He refused and kept yelling into the phone. I told him to give me his license. He refused. I saw him drop his right hand to the center of the set. I ordered him to keep his hands where I could see them. He did not follow my orders. I removed from the vehicle and took him into custody."

The report said Doss was released to his father.

Doss signed a two-year contract with the Jaguars on March 18 after Baltimore did not tender him a deal, allowing him to become an unrestricted free agent.

If he was still a Raven, he'd be our 4th offseason arrest B)
