It hurt to see that one.

Did it hurt worse than Vellano to the Pats?

No, I'm happy for him. He played for Maryland.

Huzzah!

Shame Carter declared when he didn't have to. Probably end up in the D-league and go nowhere.

Yeah, and I wish Stone would've stayed one last year. I don't wanna see another Jordan Williams scenario.

Stone will be a lottery pick though, at least that's the projection. Being a lottery pick gets you a guaranteed contract and a better opportunity to play and develop.

Being a #2 round pick, Williams had to either shine fast or get lost. Plus the Nets were entering their peak signing a bunch of veteran starters when Williams drafted him, so it was horrible luck on his part to go to a place where he'd get no time to play and develop. He would have gotten a better shot on a rebuilding team going against a bunch of scrubs.

Len is turning out to be a decent player, which surprised me because I thought he was too soft in college to make it in the pros. He's kind of a bad-ass when I watched him, and he's got some serious muscle and played like a bully. He's kind of stuck behind Tyson Chandler though--that limits his playing time.

Stone will be late lottery to mid first round pick. I honestly think Diamond should have came back. Walking away from lottery money can be hard but his game really needs more development. He could have taken Jakob route where he was also projected to go late lottery but decided to come back now he is likely a top 6 pick. Anyways, glad to hear Melo returning. I really don't think he will be a good player in the NBA though.

Len is a pretty darn good player (I think his upside is vastly better than Noel's) but he has injury bugs. He really toughened up his play imo. Anyways he should get much more playing time than Tyson and I think he will next season.
