Stone will be a lottery pick though, at least that's the projection. Being a lottery pick gets you a guaranteed contract and a better opportunity to play and develop.
Being a #2 round pick, Williams had to either shine fast or get lost. Plus the Nets were entering their peak signing a bunch of veteran starters when Williams drafted him, so it was horrible luck on his part to go to a place where he'd get no time to play and develop. He would have gotten a better shot on a rebuilding team going against a bunch of scrubs.
Len is turning out to be a decent player, which surprised me because I thought he was too soft in college to make it in the pros. He's kind of a bad-ass when I watched him, and he's got some serious muscle and played like a bully. He's kind of stuck behind Tyson Chandler though--that limits his playing time.
