he was already turned and about to take off with nicks when his left foot slipped when he went to push off with it

nicks doing something to him would be like nicks knocking him on his ass or throwing him out of his way

im not taking anything away from nicks cuz he still got away from woodson but to me it simply looks like if it wasn't for his foot slipping he would have been right there beside him

He slipped because of the move Nicks put on him. Nicks juked him which caused Woodson thinking Nicks was going right then when he went to recover to his left his feet were in a bad position thus he slipped.
