Can't really call someone an idiot for not having a crystal ball. NE RBs are the most random fucking fantasy players alive and everyone knows not to trust them week to week.

It's not about crystal ball it's about trusting that you made the right decision by Saturday and don't chop and change for no reason.

This is something that took me about 3 seasons to learn and understand

Eh maybe. Or maybe he wanted to play Ingram from the get-go and was waiting for him to be cleared. Both rbs were dealing with injuries prior to start

This. I'll often make game time decisions based on injury reports, this is commonplace in fantasy.

Again, calling someone an idiot for benching an inconsistent player in arguably the most volatile fantasy backfield, is a bit much lol. Consider yourself lucky he made a poor decision, but it's certainly not a no-brainer or a stupid decision on his end.
