i might not even be on campus until next semester lol. just called out sick on the last class i had because i needed time for this paper and hadn't skipped a class yet lol

probably going to have to commute next semester too because i keep getting turned-down for jobs on campus -_- i forever regret checking the box that said i could afford tuition without assistance when i applied to here... turned down guaranteed teaching assistantships from other schools

Why would you check it in the first place lol

I thought they might just outright decline me if I couldn't afford to go there on my own, since I figured I had to have been one of the least-qualified applicants they admitted.

Then I see all of these other students with even less qualifications getting TA's right off the bat and see I underestimated myself.

It sucks. I was hoping UMD would give me some job experience in the form of a TA. Now I have to hope I can get experience somewhere else.

And not being able to live near campus is depriving me of all on-campus activities that would look good on my resume/cv.

In retrospect, I wish I had taken the offers I received from Purdue, Louisville, MSU, or Carnegie Mellon, which came with TA opportunities attached. Teaching experience is worth 10x more than the actual diploma at this point--no one wants to even give you a chance without experience, even if I have taken plenty of coursework preparing me to teach, advise, tutor, work in the writing center etc.

Qdoba is better for tacos and quesadillas and they have queso if that's your thing. Chipotle does a better traditional burrito/bowl.

College Park wise, Chipotle is closer but always packed. Qdubs is over by the movie theater so you gotta drive, but they give free student drinks with a uid

Qdoba burritos are better because of one simple thing, queso.

They're almost identical in every other facet (minus the bad publicity with chipotle), so why would you not get the burrito that's smothered in melted cheese?

And their queso diablo has an awesome kick to it. I can't eat a burrito without it, so whenever I'm stuck getting chipotle, I'm left disappointed.

Above.

We have both in st Louis.

I think qdoba is generally more northern and chipotle is more southern region located, but I could be wrong with that.

Qdoba has the craft two menu which is clutch, you can get 2 tacos and a mini quesadilla for like 8 bucks.
