This was one of the worst games ive ever seen, until that final drive. That was fucking nuts. This was a must win for us. 5-3 is SO much better than 4-4. Now going into the bye week... that was huge.

Ross was looking pretty solid at return so that was nice for a change.

Bye could not come at a better time either. Ansah, Suh, Bentley, lots of others were banged up. With Broyles likely out for the season, I say fuck it lets go for broke and get a WR. Mikel Leshoure + 2nd for Josh Gordon. Our offense would be unstoppable. Otherwise, no disrespect to Kris Durham, but I dont think hes the answer for us. If we had a legit no. 2 this offense would literally shatter the record books.

Our remaining schedule is the easiest in the league.. something like a 37% win pct from our opponents so that is nice.

Looks like it will be a race for a wildcard spot if we cant take the north; Us, San Fran, Bears, Panthers? Bears are looking less likely to contend with Briggs, lolcutler out for extended time. Its our spot to lose really

I do agree on some points you made...and yes after last weeks loss getting this win was big...6-2 would have been nicer than 5-3 but they won't go after Gordon...they should have burleson by thanksgiving or the week after... they are most likely going to worry about our current injuries and such first..hence the release of scheffler just to pick up a T. And I wouldn't say we have an easy schedule left by a long shot....still got GB for thanksgiving and the bears at soldier field...winnable games? Yes..unpredictable games? Also yes..and if we win our division we won't have to worry about the bears if we beat them...NFC east is crap this year so that gives the lions a bit of an edge...I'm more concerned with teams like Seattle and the saints... just my two cents tho man :)

So happy this is the way we go into bye week--I wouldn't have it any other way

I love how much a part of the team joique is--I think he's my favorite lion at this point

I feel like Burleson is better suited as a slot guy though. He's not much of a deep threat if you ask me. I know Gordon has his off field situation, but the guy is literally what fits the mold of what we need to be complete. We can't draft in the second round anyway (See Titus, Broyles) but Gordon is a proven asset. As far as the remaining schedule...

W @ Bears
W @ Steelers
W vs Bucs
Lvs Packers
W @ Eagles
L vs Ravens
W vs Giants
W @ Vikings

I could see us maybe losing to the Vikings just because it is a division game, but I wouldn't be shocked if we went 7-1 down the stretch either. but asides from that I think the other games really should not be difficult. Assuming we win 6, that puts us at 11-5. Not too shabby at all

If we got some help from the falcons or cowboys down the stretch + we beat the packers on thanksgiving, we could legitimately win the North at 11-5

I think we have a good shot @ beating all of those teams--but honestly we will probably lose 3-4 of those games just because we will have at least a few more games like we had last week.

I was thinking today--Who do I want to win Bears @ Packers-- If Bears beat the packers--that puts them in better position to overtake the wildcard spot from us assuming we don't win out--BUT it also means we have a better chance of overtaking the NFC North--meaning it's very possible Packers would have to travel to us in the playoffs--which I think would give us a much better chance of advancing. I think I'd rather the Bears win and risk losing the chance of going to the playoffs at all and take the chance of winning the division.

vs. Bears Easy win For Packers
vs. Eagles Easy win For Packers
@Giants The Giants could turn their season around before this game--I'd say Packers have a 75%-80% chance of winning this one still

vs.Vikings lol

@Lions This would be a must win if the Lions hope to win the NFC North

vs.Falcons I doubt the Packers drop two in a row

@Cowboys Cowboys could beat them--but doubtful(especially if there's a real NFC North Race going on)

vs.Steelers lol

@Bears Bears COULD be fighting for a WildCard spot @ this point--making for a very tough game

In Short, The Lions have a chance @ winning the NFC North--Realistically, I think they have a 20% shot of winning NFC North--Packers seem to tear opponents apart in their victories--the Lions seem to enjoy toying with their prey for 4 quarters. Statistically the Lions are going to let more easy games slip through their hands than the Packers will.
