No it wasn't, it was on Ross for grabbing the back of Eli's helmet.

I didn't see that at all.

Dottino and Howard Cross were speculating that it was going to be a roughing the passer but then they showed down field a face mask on one of the Giants RB's or receivers. It had nothing to do with Eli.


I was watching the game on channel My 9 and that's what they showed.

The face mask you are talking about was on our DE George Selvie, #91 against one of your guy's RBs. It was a completely different play then the Ross vs Eli one. The face mask that was called on Selvie was the correct call. The play was going to the right when Selvie dove towards your guy's RB, he grabbed a little bit of the face mask, for just a second. You could see his head get pulled down just a little bit. That was the correct call, but the call on Ross was a horrible call.

Ahhh my mistake they must have happened right around the same time maybe a few snaps or few minutes between?

Naw I don't think they were close to each other, because you guys were going one way during the Ross call. Then you guys were heading in the other direction on that Selvie face mask call. Pretty positive the 2s were in the game during the Selvie face mask call. I'm about to rewatch the game right now. Well, rewatch the first half at least, since I didn't watch much of the 2nd half yet.

As for the injury situation, I haven't looked much into that yet. I wanted to watch the whole game before I read and listened up to all that stuff. But from what I do know from last night. Our best CB Derek Cox pulled himself out of the game very, very early. Like your guy's very first series because of an apparent Calf Strain. Not sure yet if it's anything worse then that since I haven't gotten into all the post game stuff, but that's what the word was last night during the game.

Yea the 2s were in the game. It was the very first play after Gabbert fumbled and JPP recovered the ball. Carr was the QB and Ware was the RB. There was 10:05 left in the 2nd quarter when Selvie got the face mask penalty on Ware.
