Well you worded it poorly enough that it could be taken to mean that you don't think it's ever worth it to start 2 receivers from the same team. You didn't dig any deeper into your answer so it seemed that shallow to me.

still you should never put yourself in a position to have 2 receivers from the same team on your roster. Its statistically normally not a good idea because you lessen the range of outcomes significantly. Its rare for 2 receivers to eat on the same day. This year has been weird and has been an exception to the rule. You don't make rules for exceptions.

And no I didn't word it poorly. I don't feel the need to explain myself, I only have this time because I don't have any issues with you and its a cordial conversation. But normally you can either listen to me or not I don't care I give great advice regardless. I play by statistical advantages. Do only what gives you the best statistical advantage to win. Sometimes it doesn't pay off but in the long run if you average it all out at the end of the day you put yourself in a great situation

I agree not to make exceptions to the rule, but I guess we differ on the rule itself. Your rule is to diversify your team, and mine is to play your best players (matchups) regardless of team. Both of us agree on statistics, were just using different ones.

Yea but my stance statistically puts you in a better position. So you wouldn't ever have to deal with your stance which is the way you should want it

And we disagree that your stance puts you in a better position. Yes, situationally you can get burned if the team you have 2 receivers from duds, but the same can be said if the team booms how good it can be. Or instead of trying to guess which one to play, you increase the odds that at least one goes off by playing both.

Your position has a higher ceiling but lower floor generally. Depending on who you play in a h2h matchup (its random, could be the top team or the worst team), either of us could have it make more sense.

You are correct that your way creates a greater range of outcomes, but sometimes a greater range of outcomes isn't good.

Congrats

First time this year i won both my matchups in the same week. Finally didn't have multiple players leave due to injury (well I had chark in both lineups) and it feels good.

Other than using a random stat generator, everything i said above is common knowledge about how stats work. your system is higher risk higher reward and mine is a steadier floor.
