McCarthy still feels Left Guard competition is wide open, mainly between Lang and Sherrod. Feels this is the best/most competitive group of rookies since he's been with the team.
Defense started work on the Psycho package tonight.
Rodgers and a couple other "vet select" guys had the night off. That said, offense still sucked in practice tonight. Not even Flynn's fault - the focus of what I saw was on the line missing blocks or getting beat and the receivers dropping balls.
Not really much else to say about tonight's practice. Offense really needs to get shit clicking soon though.
