There's no reason to bet with a welcher, even if they use a med.

If i welch 2500 off someone , but then start betting it using a med...Doesn't seem fair does it?

I've been pointing this out for awhile and it seems to fall on deaf ears. Our current system is encouraging welching... I can start with 500 and keep betting, I collect if I win and I welch if I lose. But guess what? It's not a big deal because even though I'm now a welcher, all I have to do is send upfront now.



Thats the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, you view having to send upfront as a punishment? lol! I'm not on active so I don't have the ability to hold fg during bets either...

So if I welch you 2k and then want to bet you again, all I have to do is send to you upfront? wow.

All I'm proposing is that we stop betting with welchers... people check the list all the time to see who is "active", they can't do the same for welchers?

nah id consider that repayment of the 2k u welched me if u sent it up front.

It was an example and most people (I would hope) aren't dumb enough to bet with someone again if they welched them the first time.

If someone welches a welcher its still welching though.

Betting with them is lose lose situation, unless they send upfront.

If they win, you might not get paid, if you lose, your supporting welching.

so your saying if i win i am not supporting welching
but if i lose i am supporting welching

you're supporting welching either way.

I was making a general comment after reading some of what was posted by everyone. I was not trying to direct my comments at you personally, but everyone in general.

And I worded my previous post wrong...

Win or lose it supports welching because they still are able to bet, even after screwing someone else out of payment.

But I might be guilty of this since I have people send FG for me to mediate, and I am not aware of if they are welchers or not prior to them sending me the FG...
