We could definitely afford him though :) , we're like 50milish under the cap (I forget the exact numbers, I read them the other day). He said he wants to be the highest paid Safety, but we'll see where the market takes it.

We have to spend some money and I don't really see who we would pay on our current roster. Maybe Cecil? He's really the only one that you could make an argument for, for maybe an extension. They have got to spend money some where. Caldwell said he wants to target B and C type players in the Off Season. I honestly don't expect us to get any big name free agents, but I wouldn't be shocked if we landed one.

Byrd is my #1 FA want this off season. We have to get a true single high FS for this Secondary. It's the most important piece.

We have at least 10 picks in this draft though so I don't expect a bunch of FA signings, that's why 1 big name to spend some money would make sense. The plan from the start was to build through the draft and 10+ picks will help a lot.

Manziel would be an awful pick for sure.

If he's there at our pick in the 2nd round, we'd definitely have to think about it. I wouldn't take him any earlier then that though. Ideally it would be the 3rd round, but he probably goes in the 1st round anyways.

So our Coaching staff is coaching the South team during the Senior Bowl and it's stacked with a bunch of very talented players. We have by far the 3 best QBs in the Senior Bowl in Garoppolo, Carr and Fales. The North team has Stephen Morris, Logan Thomas and Tajh Boyd as their QBs.

We also got Christian Jones, Kyle Van Noy, Jeremiah Attaochu, Will Sutton, Cody Hoffman and Jordan Matthews as some of the other very notable players.

We very well could get our LEO or QB from this Senior Bowl. Hoffman or Matthews could be that bigger outside WR we lack, 6'3+ 205+.
