Meh, was hoping for a big name. Whatever.

Played probably the worst team on our schedule today. At least we looked good doing it (unlike the first 5 games or so).

If Diamond Stone can start living up to the hype this will be a legit contending team.

Finally got our defense and rebounding looking good. Stone beasting too.

Hit a bit of a lull at the end of the half though.

Made that game close at the end there. Trimble and Suliamon are pretty clutch.

Wish Layman wasn't so quiet every game.

Dude were going to be a recruiting powerhouse.

How mad you think layman is that he didn't enter the draft? I know Sullivan and Carter kinda reduce his effectiveness but still, he keeps bricking shots that would've dropped for him before.

I don't think Layman would have ever had a chance of being drafted last year. He needs a Sam Dekker-like playoff performance this year to even get considered.

Turge has chummed the waters somehow. I think Trimble staying for a 2nd season really helped things snowball.

Maryland recently filled its head coaching vacancy with former Michigan defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin, but it is yet to announce an offensive coordinator. That uncertainty could impact the commitment of No. 2 ranked quarterback, Dwayne Haskins, who is now seemingly keeping his options open.
Haskins’ father confirmed to ESPN.com that the ESPN 300 quarterback is visiting Ohio State this weekend. Haskins recently visited Florida as well, but the Gators received a commitment from fellow ESPN 300 quarterback Feleipe' Franks and the Florida staff is also going after Jacob Eason as well.

This move doesn’t necessarily mean he is moving on from his commitment as he is still pledged to the Terps, rather that he will have options if the eventual offensive hires by Durkin don’t mesh with what he is looking for.

While Haskins is a big target, Ohio State also already has an ESPN 300 quarterback committed in this class in Tristen Wallace. If Haskins were to flip his commitment, that decision would likely impact Wallace as well.

Haskins has been the glue for this Maryland class throughout the process and has been responsible for recruiting some of the other commitments as well. Keeping him on board through signing day would be a big win for the new Maryland staff as the quarterback depth on the roster is very thin.

Getting Haskins to reaffirm his commitment this late in the process could also help land other big prospects, which is a boost Maryland could use.

First big time QB for MD in a while, cant let him go Durkin.

Damn, didn't even know I had to worry about Haskins de-committing lol. Sounded like he just wanted to go local despite who was there.

Locksley is a below-average OC, but he is a good recruiter. It's going to suck losing his influence in the DMV area (Trayvon Diggs was wavering between Bama and UMD, pending Locksley). Hopefully the next OC can establish a rapport with local prospects while also being better with x's and o's than Locksley.

We're in talks with locksley to keep him on but not as OC. He was just photographed with Durkin and a recruit, can't remember who I saw it on twitter. We'd have London with VA on lock, Aazaar with DC on lock, and keeping Locksley would just reaffirm the entire DMV.
