We'll have to wait and see how it looks on NX. I think it'll push sales of the nx, not the wiiu

Oh shit, I didn't even realize they had detailed anything about a new console. Yeah, RIP WiiU

I just went to a FNM draft event for the first time since Worldwake came out (so like 2010). Drafted a westvale Abby, which is worth like $6, so the trip partially paid for itself.

I went 0-2 vs both of my first two opponents, and then the 3rd guy I was supposed to play quit I guess since he and I were just playing for last place lol. However, I also played two fun games with my draft deck and won with over 30 life each time, confirming that I was getting some really shitty draws in games that counted (even my practice hands were decent like every time, really bad luck when it counted).

Playing casual multi-player drafts /w friends has really taught me a lot of bad habits. My mana curve was way too late-game oriented, and I generally am used to multiplayer politics when playing, aka very slow games without much attacking.

I need pro-tips kold.

I'm late apparently, but FF12 will be released for PS4 in 2017

pls release it for PC as well so I don't have to consider getting a console square

Feels like I spent an entire summer vacation beating that game 100%

Then you won't like 2. 1 is an rpg with shooter elements. 2 is a shooter with rpg elements.

Well the story is fucking well done and the system is fairly decent so I shouldn't mind. I hope.

Pro tip #1: don't listen to me

Now that that's out of the way, it's insanely common for your 0-2 opponent to not want to play since it's pointless. Hell I personally will quit if I lose round 1 since I'm staying for at least 2 more hrs to win a single pack.

In alot of games life total doesn't matter too much, probably matters more in limited tho. But in say like standard, life total literally means jack shit atm since there's so little to no reach being played (burn, haste, etc)

Uh I have only drafted like twice this set. Really dislike it atm. Will Probsbly start drafting again when eldritch moon releases.

Your casual friends are the worst kind of magic players bruh. When I go to an fnm and play standard, playing casuals that don't play is the absolute worst. Pretty much expected to win vs some jank deck that probably sucks. So embarrassing :(

Oh and "wanna friendly mulligan?"

idk what the bolded part means. what's "reach"?

agreed on disliking the current set. i really don't like any of the innistrad sets but I sold some guy a box of new phyrexia through the internet (a little over $300) and agreed to meet him at the local game store (which I had never been inside before) and was like, what the hell, might as well stay for FNM.

I'm never going to do anything but draft format because I don't have $100's to spend on cards every time a new set comes out lol, so idc about that. I'm fine being casual in that regard. Just really out of the loop with like a real draft and playing 1v1

"Reach" is like burn, siege rhno, hasters, etc. Not the keyword reach.

Say you have your control opponent at 1

Last format, As a control deck, if you're 3 or lower you are constantly needing to "dodge" a certain draw (siege rhino in this case)

It's like, being able to deal with the last few points of damage other than playing a larger creature than your opponent and hoping it lives

Although it's not a great meta game for control decks, the fact there are 0 cards like the ones i described (in decks being played that is) is really good.

Only "Burn" card that sees alot of play atm is Kolaghans command, so against those BR decks you kinda have to stay above 2, but that's about it.

you ever play commander? I didn't care for at first but since that's what my friends play i cracked and got a deck and it's actually nb.

I don't do commander. If my friends had any desire to do it I would, but... they're too lazy to learn something new
