no he isnt lmao. he's a big slot that has 0 route running ability and awful hands. and smith isnt a speed guy he's a small slot that needs to play on the outside to stay alive.

Okay

Pro Football Focus: "Given the slate of pass-catchers on the board at No. 18 and the fact that Brown has consistently been one of the league’s most productive wide receivers, this is a huge value for Philly. Since entering the league in 2019, Brown ranks 13th among wide receivers in PFF Wins Above Replacement (WAR), 4th in PFF receiving grade and 3rd in yards per route run."

"The Philadelphia Eagles now have a dynamic X wide receiver who can move. A.J. Brown is the exact kind of player the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense needs. He’s bulky at 6-foot-1, 226 pounds, smart, and the sort of dynamic offensive weapon the likes of which Philly hasn’t had in quite some time."

"Brown can do exactly what teams want to see from their X wide receiver; he can win versus press, catch 50-50 balls, and run a complete route tree. Place Brown on the line and watch him dominate in a way that the Eagles’ 2021 X wide receiver, Jalen Reagor, could have only dreamed of."

"Not only can Brown play the X spot like a slightly shorter Alshon Jeffery, but he’s also a beast in the open field, as he averaged almost 40 percent of his yards after the catch over his first three seasons in Tennessee and could be a similarly effective space attacker in midnight green. Manufacture him a few easy touches, from jet sweeps to screen passes, and watch his go to work and cobble together a first down like one of the other players Philly was linked to this offseason, Deebo Samuel."

weird trade for u guys. aj brown is good but doesnt fit your team at all. you have all slot wrs now and not a single good outside wr or deep threat.

someone like dk would of been a phenomenal pick up, brown isnt very scary tho. he'll get 1000 yards but is just going to steal touches from smith.

i dont even know wtf the viks were doing. im still assuming that had to be a typo because they got absolutely wrecked on that trade. you should of gotten an xtra future first in that trade, idk why u trade back 20 spots for a 3rd rd pick.

Hey don't forget we moved up 10 Spots in the 2nd!!!

Jk we absolutely should have gotten the lions first round pick next year or hung up the phone.

Word is they like Hamilton but had Cine rated just slightly below him so saw the value of adding picks... they just didn't really add any picks, we only added an extra 3rd and moved up in the 2nd. This has the be one of the worst draft day trades.

Again, I like Lewis Cine and think he will be good but man did we get fucked on value for trading that far back

agreed exactly my thoughts. The value we could have gotten could have been great. Hell if we got their first next year (Which is common for first round trades of that far of a jump) then I would have been jumping for joy. But this was such a shitty trade for a first year GM. Makes my excitement level for a new regime stale out
