As to why we lost? Not the coach, but the RT. 90% or so. He was just a ghost.
Other major factors.
Brady's INT to Miller.
Kickergate missing a 1 pter.
And having back to back possessions late in the 4th inside Denver 30? and failing on 4th down(twice). Scored on the next drive but too late.

22 QB hits(by far the most this year), @Denver(cant hear the snap count so cant change it, easy jumps for the best DE duo), no RB to even help block in the backfield because he'd become the tackle pretty much (LOLCANNON)
Lost on last play.
If they played on neutral field/Foxboro? Bruh

Cam Newton had time in the pocket plenty of times...something Brady didn't.
Only difference is Cam holds the ball too long.
Then again, having Tedd Ginn and Philly Brown(who left early) vs. premier corners doesn't help.

The Patriots loss because Denver is the better team, plain and simple.

He's right... Denver should have been up by 14-21 points in the first half. We got dominated and thankfully their offense was so terrible, that we were able to keep them in check with our bangedup defense. Denver was the better team. We still should have beaten them the first game of the season, refs straight handed them that game. No excuse on the rematch though. Brady kept us in it, but we got lucky and that's the only reason it was even close enough for him to do that.

the end of the season was once we lost home-field advantage.

Agreed, I'm not sure why we didn't try against Miami... made no sense to me. We would of had an incredibly tough time with Carolina had we made the SB. This is good. Teams who lose the SB rarely go back next year, we've got an opportunity to beast up our line, hopefully stay healthy and maybe we can make it back next season.
