^^jade its just a tiny bump, big enough to feel and ive had it for about a year now, it just never hurt this bad... no idea what caused it tbh im assuming just continuous running/jumping during basketball

Rest is good. Like I said, just make sure to go see someone if the pain doesn't subside in 48 hours. It's pretty inexpensive to get an x-ray, and you should only be billed for a 99212 at this level of severity for seeing an MD.

I remember being 6 years old and having to get a rain check from toys r us for crash bandicoot 1, which sucked because it was my first game ever so I had nothing but the demo disc that came with the ps1 to play in the meantime (still have that demo disc too lol)

That's fucking awesome man. I really wanted to buy the first one, it was like $30 though and #2 was only $10. The first one was the first game I had for PS, came in a bundle that my aunt bought me for my birthday. That was one of the few times in my life I played videogames with my mom and my aunt. I must have only been 7 or 8, but I remember just passing the controller back and forth between my mom and my aunt and just having the best fucking time playing.

I thought I remembered that #2 was almost as good as the first, and figured it'd be good to go with the cheaper one to start. I didn't know if I'd enjoyed it as much as I had when I was a kid. So far, it's been awesome, just as fun as I remember and there's already been a few parts that have pissed me off trying to get the gem lol. Iirc, 1 was A LOT harder, so I do need to grab that at some point. I think it was the first one where the level before the last was just like a hallway, but all the gems you collected showed up as a path and if you had all of them you could go through some crazy fucking jump course and then it was like a secret ending or something. I think I was incredibly disappointed at the end of the trail, but I remember being pretty fucking happy that I had finally finished it.

I figured they would have all of those old crash bandicoots re-released together in some kind of remastered deal like all of the old tomb raiders. Guess not..? I think the gameplay for 1,2, and warped as all basically the same.

Twisted Metal 2 was the only game I played /w other people (only-child in a rural area, didn't have many friends to play with nearby). I would play /w my dad on co-op mode all of the time lol. I even played /w him on TM2 a few years ago, and we both remembered the controls pretty quickly lol.

Surprising how expensive these old games get. I think buying FF7 was like $40 for the discs + case + booklet.

Damn... I didn't realize those went for so much, I had 2x copies of red/blue/yellow and the original release Japanese version Gold/Silver. I'll have to check around at my parents house next time I'm there lol.

I've still got my N64 stuff, some back in Wa and some down in NM. I bought an N64 with 4 controllers, Mario kart + Super Smash for $100, Smash + MK alone are worth $115 - $130. I know I've still got a decent collection of retro gaming stuff up north, I just have no idea where it is or what kind of shape it'll be in.

Not sure what the deal is with them refusing to release Crash on Ps4, seems like it'd be an easy way to make some decent cash. Sony is just really against the backwards compatibility concept, both these gen consoles are a huge downgrade from their predecessors imo. Less functionality, fewer games (to be expected with newer consoles, but there have been few games with any replay value released), no nostalgia factor, and a party system/interface that is just clunky and riddled with problems. Really, Sony and a lot of these companies are just going full retarded. Not sure what the latest on the FF7 remake is, but last I heard was it was going to be released in installments, it was going to be absolutely nothing like the original with combat, more of a Kingdom Hearts thing and the total cost was going to be around $200+. It's like they just want to piss people off lol. There's nothing wrong with a turnbased system, just increase the base speed a bit, add in some new materia/enemies, maybe throw in a couple of puzzles to make it a little more interesting and some end game bosses. Boom, you just sold 50 million copies, you're welcome.

I never did play with my dad on the PS, I played a lot of twisted metal with my brother and neighbor, I was pretty boss at the game. I think the reaper and tank were my best, but it's been so long that it's hard to remember exactly. I played a lot with my dad when I was really little, like on NES and things like that, and then I probably didn't game with him again until I had an Xbox and we played Halo together. That didn't last long and after a couple games I was no longer allowed to shoot. When I was like 15 or 16 though and pretty damn good at gaming (playing 8-14 hours a day on average), my dad picked up an odyssey 2 and we played a bunch of that together. He straight kicked my ass at every single game on there lol.

I honestly don't know why I still have my Ps4, played it like a few times the past 3 months. No fucking backwards compatibility, at least the ps3 does
