I did, it was supposed to be a lease to allow public hunting on my land for two years in exchange, I was offered to not pay property taxes for those two years. The mineral rights is common in these types of agreements, but the guy from the department of natural resources said it would only be used for hunting and fishing. Then they clear cut 100 acres and totally devastated it.

well my lawyer said it would be an uphill battle, but he would take the fight. I want to live in the wilderness not a field of brush. I signed the contract, with my lawyer present, so I'm pretty well fucked I think. my taxes are around 34k a year so I figured saving 70k to let some dude shoot shit and eat my fish was a good deal. I probably could have sold that woods to a lumber mill for around 200k. Had I wanted it wrecked I would have just done that. I thought the most they would do is test out for fracking or something. Might as well have burned my forest down.
