I hope Khalil Mack ends up good, he's a fun player to watch. I think he's gonna be a great player for the Raiders....then again I thought the same about McClain
McClain wasn't a bad player, and he'd still be in the NFL if it wasn't for a personal decision to retire.

Well here's my thoughts on our picks...
1) Khalil Mack - Love this. Best player available and he fills a need. Couldn't have made a better pick there.
2) Derek Carr - Good pick. Tremendous value at 36, and it'll be nice to let him sit and learn a year or two depending on how schaub does. Has the look of a good QB
3) Gabe Jackson - Good pick. I personally think you can never have too much depth in the trenches. A big old SEC lineman will do nothing but beef up our front unit.
4) Justin Ellis - Okay. Big boy who should clog up the middle and stop the run game. But he's 346 lbs? He's gotta cut some of that lol.
4) Keith McGill - Okay pick. He's a huge corner and he's physical. Plays a lot of strong press coverage. Time will tell with this one.
7) TJ Carrie - Kind of interesting. There were plenty of better CB's available when we took him, I think because of his return ability. Could be our next primary returner??
7) Shelby Harris - A weird pick. Dude didn't even play football last year because he was kicked off the team for conduct detrimental. Wtf? Probably could have been UDFA
7) Jonathan Dowling - Idk anything about this guy but we need some safety depth for sure so good need pick there.
Agree with most of this. McGill seems like a huge steal to me because a few weeks ago he was mocked in the 1st round. So I think he's a big win in the 4th round.
A little bummed we didn't get a WR, but the group we have is solid and only made better by James Jones. Maybe with a more reliable, accurate QB we won't need big plays as much 'cuz we'll be more consistent about moving the chains.
Only time will tell.
