drafting 6th overall in one league and 8th overall in another, both 12 team PPR. I'm seeing a lot more value at WR than i am at RB for both the first and second rounds in most mocks I've done so far. Would it be a mistake to wait until at least the third to grab a RB? Some RBs i see available in the third are guys like Kerryon Johnson, Nick Chubb, Aaron Jones some of which are still there in the 4th.

6th get a RB, 8th WR.

Johnson should be good for two games this year, just pick mahomes and Kelce.

I usually draft RB first and second round, it's harder to find a good filler at RB vs at WR. seems to be a lot more viable WR out there rather than RB imo so why not get in on the good backs before they're gone

There are some decent options in later rounds at RB this year imo. I just feel it’s safer to take Hopkins at 6 than reaching for a David Johnson or James conner. Just feel a lot of those backs are a risk and I’d like a sure thing with my first rounder

if gordon ends his holdout I'd probably take him with the 6th but other than that its a risk

That's right. You should auto draft.

None of those guys should be available in the 4th round of a 12 man draft. Unless your playing 2QB

This year I will be targeting 2 RB 1WR in the first 3 rounds. I do not see depth at RB into the 4th round.
