no.. TB needs O line and Latavius running behind one of the top O Lines in football he was mediocre. I would say Oakland has a better Pass blocking Oline than Run blocking but they are still above average they just aren't on the Cowboys O line level.

I say we stick we Rodgers and draft someone late there are going to be a lot of backs that fall. D' onta Foreman will be dropping and wouldn't mind grabbing someone like that in the draft to groom or Alvin Kamara.

Murray wasn't getting the touches to be a feature back last season. Two seasons ago he was one of the top RBs in terms of total yards (when our OL wasn't nearly as well developed, but was still good) and he was more featured. Last season it was truly a committee of 3.

I still don't get this Oline upgrade talk - our Oline was not responsible for our losses last year. More often than not against a good D the OL stopped Jameis taking huge beastings.

We need a RB to be a bellcow, a constant 3-6 yards per carry. Then we need a #2 WR.

Our Dline needs Calais from Arizona. Holy shit we need that dude. But do we need a safety more?

I say all of this because I don't know shit about the upcoming draft other than it's heavy talented in Defence.

Did you see the Dallas game? Jameis is shifty in the pocket and his awareness is good so you he can mask some of the o-line deficiencies but if you watched closely you see the RB's getting hit in the backfield more often than not. We have an LT that probably shouldn't be an LT. We have a 5th round backup Pamphile that shouldn't be LG he is decent pass protector but really poor run blocker. C Joe hawley is old and often injured. RG we are good Ali is our best player on offense aside from Mike Evans and Jameis. RT Demar Dotson was good but this year he took a steep decline and is getting pretty old. He was never a great run blocker but always solid in the passing game but he declined in that area as well.

Although this is not the most reliable stats as they have flaws but If you check out the offensive line grades here - http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol You will see TB is 21st in run blocking but look closer they are 32nd in stuff rank (rb's getting hit before the line of scrimmage) and 32nd in power rank. That is a very telling stat we were not getting any push at the line of scrimmage during run plays. I don't care who you have in the backfield if they are getting hit before the line of scrimmage they are going to be less than spectacular. The best RB's this season were running behind good O-lines.

Ur right Daryl washington and Jalen richard did get a lot of touches but IMO I just don't have that much faith in Murray. I honestly just don't really like his run style BUT he will and can flourish as a RB I just don't think it will be in TB.

That's quite eye opening actually, I know Hawley got blown up in the run a lot but I didn't realise that it had such an intense effect in the backfield.

Well, they resigned Gholston for 5 years, so that's nice.

They offered Glennon 7 million to stay in Tampa. Interesting, I wonder if it is because their cap space? Do they not trust Jameis? Do they want to sign him and eventually trade him?

Either way it seems he declined that and wants to pursue a starting gig on the free agent market. Good luck to him, wouldn't mind seeing him get a chance somewhere. He's better than Osweiller in my opinion, just didn't have the same exposure.

Gholston was a decent contract hes a beast in te run game but isn't really a great pass rusher.

As for Glennon the 7 mil is going to the norm for top tier back up qb's im assuming which is about 3% of the actual cap. I think they legitmately wanted to resign him as the back up but he feels he wants to test the market for a starting job. Supposedly Chicago is in the market for Glennon.
