Who the fk doesn't have social media at all.. <_< fk
Does academia or linkedin count? Otherwise, I don't do social media. When you're in a profession in which your character is very important (say, teaching), you do not want any embarrassing info online for all to see--that can completely blacklist you from any positions in said career. For someone like me who is privately very politically incorrect, it's better to just avoid social media altogether; it may lead to something incriminating being displayed when my name is googled and my profile searched.
All of the people I actually care about are people whom I already talk/text/email on a weekly basis anyway, so there is really no need to talk to them on Twitter, Facebook, etc. since I already know how they're doing. Facebook tries to link you with obscure family and friends, most of whom I really don't care about, and whom I would probably be more comfortable not getting too familiar with anyway, so there is really no use for it. Like, my Facebook wall would be filled with stupid posts and personal news by people I don't really care about, so it wasn't really that useful anyway.
Plus it's a huge time-waste (like jsp and sports lol), so I don't really need any more of that
