Easier than expected. I find it odd how you rarely, if ever, use stats in your posts. You just say things as if they were fact when in reality, they are mostly subjective. And no dotes for over a month and no casting for 3 months. Much needed break
100℅ true. I spend a lot of time on here at work for fun. I'm not looking to prove a point or put somebody down. I like talking subjective and always will.
This forum is like, entirely predicated on "he said this, so let's check the numbers, then berate him forever about it." I used to lurk and now I just wanna chime in. 100℅ correct in the fact I ran off of old emotions in my post regarding Atlanta. Didn't look at any facts and just said f it. Stupid when considering what I know now about a majority of people here.
That being said, I'm not going to change for you. I don't need to come up with 25 threads a week with detailed statistics and copy and paste from ESPN like I know what I'm talking about, like some people here. I'm just a sports fan, plain and simple.
I've been very cautious to engage in arguments or debates with teams I don't follow as much, just because of a scenario like this.
But don't you get tired of running people off that can't handle being pressured a bit? Not just you, don't take it that way if you do. A lot of guys are just super argumentative right off the bat. I can remember coming here for the fun of DM's posts about Brian Dawkins.
If I'm wrong, I'll admit it. I conceded in the last thread regarding Atlanta. But it's funny how you know about me, and pay attention at that level. For me this always be fun here in FNR. At least I'm not just spamming "irony" in every thread.
I could have just said WJ FT GK and let it go, but you happen to be one of those guys who backs up his posts with stats, so I do respect you and want to reciprocate a response. I'm just not a stats guy. Funny enough you say it, today I did post a stat, regarding the Knicks. And it has nothing to do with true shooting percentage or minutes played or some variable to explain an issue. Just a fun stat someone might have missed when perusing ESPN.
I'll always stand up and be red in the face when I'm a fool, but fuck, this entire forum is Tomfoolery 200 so I'm just trying to find my seat.
