I didn't really get to see the 1st quarter, mainly because I was busy and it's going to replay the game on Sunday so I have it set to record.

I read that Cameron Wake worked him over pretty good a couple times. Which was expected though.



Gabbert played without MJD, Shorts, Blackmon and vs the Dolphins' 1s.

Henne played with the 1s, against the Dolphins' 2s and 3s lol. That's why he looked half way decent out there.

Gabbert started against the Dolphins' 1s without those three.

Then once Henne came in, he was still without those 3, but he was playing against the Dolphins 2s and 3s. Of course he should of looked solid vs them, except all he could do was muster up 3 points against back ups lmao.

So the first game the 1st team Defense looks solid, getting consistent pressure and the Offense couldn't do shit. Now this game the 1st team Offense looked solid and the Defense couldn't do shit.

So, for not having Shorts, Joeckel or Lewis in the game. For Blackmon not playing until the 2nd series and MJD only playing 2 series. Gabbert led them right down the field with ease during the 1s vs 1s. Same story as years past with us killing ourselves with penalties. 8 penalties for 73 yards, not even half way through the 2nd quarter.

I'm going to rewatch the game later, because I had a Fantasy Draft that started at 5:30 (game started at 4:30). So I was back and forth for some of it.

Gabbert looked very good out there. I said it last year, that he always looked the best in the No Huddle and what do you know. They ran a lot of no huddle tonight and he posted up 13-16 for 165 yards and a TD vs the Jets 1s. One of those incomplete passes was a throw away. Another was a pass placed only where the TE could catch it, in the back corner of the end zone.

Blackmon looked solid his 1st game back from groin surgery over the summer. Ace Sanders continues to make plays and MJD looked like he's getting back into form. This was his first game back from the injury last year.

Cyprien made some rookie mistakes tonight and looked a little lost at times. That's all to be expected though. He was very aggressive, which got a couple penalties called on him for it. I liked every minute of it though.

Allen didn't play because of an ankle injury, so we had UDFA rookie LaRoy Reynolds starting in his place at the Sam LB position. He got exposed a few times. To be expected.

The Defensive Scheme relies on consistent pressure from the front 4. There really wasn't any pressure tonight and the Secondary got exposed for it.

Mo Mass already cut LMAO. Not surprising after the OTAs and camps. Heard nothing but bad stuff about him, that he really needed to step it up and he obviously didn't.

It's nice finally having talent at WR. The WR position has been so terrible for us for so long.
