Baseball is not the kind of sport I watch closely usually. I usually have it on while using the laptop and then only pay attention when something interesting is happening, since there is like 25 seconds between pitches

Looking to buy a new laptop within the next month or so. Idk what I'm doing so I'm turning to you guys. Its going to be primarily only used when I travel (10 times a year or so between work and vacation) and I'd like it to be something somewhat hefty but not some $3,000 monstrosity. Will be used for basic shit like interwebs, streaming movies, porn and some gaming. I'm not talking GTA on ultra or anything silly like that but I'd like to be able to run games cleanly, just maybe on medium to high settings.

Budget is $1,000 but cheaper is always better.

Will pay 1000fg to whoever finds me something I buy plus another 300fg for every $100 under $1000 the price is. :)

I recently bought a dell xps 13 that I like somewhat. Wrote a comprehensive review that I can pm you if you care to read it.

The specs suggest it could handle games, but I never tried.

However, you could have a cheaper, heavier laptop if you don't care about battery life or portability

My Inspiron 15 is fairly decent although I haven't pushed it to its limit yet

I recommended this for my bro, he likes hp. It's got an ssd which is nice and still has a tb of hdd. On most review sites I checked it was favorable and the complaints were mostly dumb users.
