It should have been a first this year and first next year like every other big jump in the first round in the past. (Bears trade, Saints trade up, falcons trading up for julio, cheifs trading up 12 spots for mahomes)

Considering AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts were training together for the past week, i'm going to say Howie knew well in advance this was a move he was going to make.

weird trade for u guys. aj brown is good but doesnt fit your team at all. you have all slot wrs now and not a single good outside wr or deep threat.

someone like dk would of been a phenomenal pick up, brown isnt very scary tho. he'll get 1000 yards but is just going to steal touches from smith.

Huh???? How the hell do you figure that? DeVonta Smith is literally just that, an outside WR who is a major deep threat with crazy speed. And Quez Watkins game is being a deep threat....

One thing Hurts lacked last season was a bigger-bodied receiver who can operate consistently over the middle and create yards after the catch. AJ Brown is ELITE for YAC (#1 in YAC in 2019, and #8 in 2020) and is the big bodied WR the Eagles desperately lacked on the other side and in red zone situations as well.

The question will be can Hurts improve his down field passing to take advantage now. That's the only question mark on this offense now, the arm of Hurts. He has everything else and is competitive and shows major composure, but his arm strength is the question.

Brown is literally an X receiver that plays on the outside, consistently beats press coverage, 24 yrs old, and arguably a top 10 WR in the league. He compliments the two speed guys they have in Devonta and Quez Watkins perfectly

no he isnt lmao. he's a big slot that has 0 route running ability and awful hands. and smith isnt a speed guy he's a small slot that needs to play on the outside to stay alive.
