Honestly, I didn't feel any sort of attachment towards my son at all when he was born. It's the whole raising process that makes you like them more. Sure, they're little shits, but when they do little things you taught them or start cheering for your team (I love when my kid starts yelling go Patriots or Sounders or w/e) unprompted, it just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside lol.
I guess I can see that. I mean I felt an instant connection with my son but it's gotten way bigger as he's aged.
I've also stayed at home with my kids for almost their whole lives so I'm even more lucky in that regard.
