It wasn't pretty but the Texans beat the Bears at their own game and on their field with sloppy weather conditions.

Danieal Manning was such a ballhawk out there tonight picking one off, forcing a fumble and making a couple of big-time hits. He nearly capped the game off with a pick six which would have been icing on the cake in his return to Chicago. Kareem Jackson may become an All Pro very soon under Wade Phillips and it's amazing how much he has improved in only two years. Johnathan Joseph did as well a job as you can do covering Brandon Marshall even though he made a couple nice catches deep downfield. I thought Marshall got away with a few offensive pass interference penalties that weren't called but Joseph hung tough and kept playing hard.

The entire secondary has played very well ever since that disappointment against Green Bay. That was a good wake-up call for this team.

Undefeated on the road this season but I think they need to go out and win at Detroit on Thanksgiving morning, try to follow that with a win at New England next month and most importantly win at Indianapolis the final game of the season -- well maybe, if it has any importance for home field advantage.

The Houston Texans are 0-10 all time at Indianapolis. Just from a fan base perspective it would be nice to finally get a road win there.

I can't wait for the Texans game against the Jaguars on Sunday. A chance at 9-1 against a team they should beat by two or three scores.

The offensive struggles don't concern me as much because of the sloppy conditions, plus the Bears have a damn good defense, and we were without Owen Daniels and Ben Tate, two pretty important pieces to the offense. Hopefully we get both back soon. Let them rest against the Jaguars if necessary. Need to have them back for the Lions game on Thanksgiving. Matt Schaub threw two INTS but he kept his composure and all that matters is winning 13-6.

29 carries for 102 yards. Another workhorse effort. He had five catches with the amazing two-yard TD catch with Briggs draped all over him. Just last week I was telling draino that Foster should be hauling in at least five catches per game if not more. He went six games averaging only one catch. I still feel like he's due to break out with a 250-yard rushing game before this season is over. He's going to lead the NFL in rushing attempts and Touchdown runs this season but his yardage *ypc" has been down this season.

Justin Forsett had a nice 25-yard run which was the longest of the night for either team. He's no Ben Tate but has done well in limited playing time. But make no mistake, I want to see that battering ram Ben Tate back on the field and healthy soon. If the Texans get back to that awesome Foster and Tate combo -- the Super Bowl is within reach.

We need Tate back tho. Foster getting 30 carries a game isnt good.

Hopefully he'll only get around 10-14 carries against the Jaguars. Especially with the short week and four days in between the Jags and Lions game.

Da fuck...only 4 days to prepare for lions game -_-

Foster will probably get around 20. Tate needs to play soon if he wants to get some carries.

It would be nice to win both games against Jacksonville and Detroit in the span of four days and get to 10-1

At that point, all the Texans would need to do is beat the Patriots and win at least one of the two left versus the Colts. They can almost assure themselves of the 1st seed in the AFC Playoffs because they would own all the major tiebreakers over Baltimore, Denver, New England, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis and every other team due to either head-to-head results or conference record.

That 1st seed for the Texans is going to be important. The road to Super Bowl 47 in the AFC has to come through Reliant Stadium. And then even the Super Bowl in New Orleans, should the Texans make it, would feel like a home game because it's only 350 miles East of Houston. Unless for some strange reason the Saints made it there also. LOL

not worry about losing the game as i am about our players staying healthy like that. i guess that's the risk you take when you play a thanksgiving game tho.

and the texans have only given up one TD since the packers game, which was garbage time TD against the ravens.

and even tho we're 8-1 atm, we dont have this division locked up yet. colts are 6-3 but i dont except them to get more than 9 or 10 wins. and i think after this game, we need to get the 1st seed.
