I don't think they are. I still have them finishing at 4th in the division, even with these additions. Don't throw the ball at revis and wait for their offense to make mistakes, because it will.

The Jets are a top run defense too. The defense is obviously legit, but you're right.

They have a brand new coach with no HC experience and their best QB at the moment is ryan Fitzpatrick... rofl...

The only reason theyll be possible playoff contenders is that their schedule is EXTREMELY weak.. just looked it up. At best theyll be a wild contender team and maybe upset 1 team in the playoffs they wont make it to the afc championship count on that

Rex Ryan was a rookie coach and still made it to the AFC Championship and this team has a better offense and defense then that one.

Fitzpatrick isn't a premier QB but he's still a capable one, better then Sanchez, Vick, Geno etc.

I'd go with Geno just because I know what i'm getting out of Fitz.
Call me crazy but Fitzy doesn't win you anything.

on paper I guess you could say every team in the AFC east has a chance at the title, but I don't like basing judgements on paper alone

pats have lost key situational players. jets bills and phins have all gained big name playmakers. but I don't think that necessarily makes it fair to say the pats are likely to lose the division. im not doubting the obvious increase in competition, we just don't know how competitive it will be yet

nobody will really know until the season starts. it's like this every year, and the pats usually have a boring offseason with the occasional big name veteran signing. but it is interesting to note last years FA and the immediate super bowl success. will be fun to see how the next season plays out.

Bills situation just as bad as the Jets... Manuel is no different then Geno, they both still have time to be good, they need chances.
