Practice was awesome today. I had the best seat in the house with the entire thing pretty much happening directly in front of my line of the fence. It's unreal how unhuman Calvin looks up close and in person. Suh and Fairley look monstrous too

After practice, I was able to get the signatures of Sam Martin and Rob Sims who were just walking around. Rob Sims is a class act and a half. Fortunately, my ticket to the autograph line was chosen, so I got to go to the autograph table. Nick Fairley signed a football for me, and Mikel Leshoure, Mike Thomas, Jake Scott, and Thaddeus Lewis did too. Fairley is super nice and he took a picture with me

Then, I almost got Calvin to sign a ball when he came over to the fence. Glover Quin was just about to sign my ball until the PR guys finally made him go to the locker room. He was supposed to be there 15 minutes prior, but he stayed to meet fans and kept saying "5 more mins... 5 more mins" He was awesome.

Highly recommend anyone who is thinking of going and who has time to go to go. It was an awesome experience

That's awesome dude. I'm going to have to go now

I was watching 49ers highlights and watching David Akers miss a lot of field goals
Does this worry anyone else but me? Was that slump just temporary orr?

YouTube sensation is far from proven

I think lions fans might see how spoiled we've been with Jason Hanson the past couple decades

Hanson was awesome during his prime.. he started slipping towards the end though.

I'm fine with rolling with Rugland. He's unproven but he can nail 60+ yarders.

if we wanted to groom another longterm kicker he would be a great choice.

I mean how much experience does a kicker really need? It's a kicker... Maybe Rugland will be better than Hanson. A man can dream.

It will be nice to see kickoffs go through the back of the endzone this year instead of being caught at the goal line. Our coverage teams are perennially awful
