its also camera's panning over someone in the spur of the moment to catch their first reaction, and he had already received the call, and i'm sure as a qb the first thought that went through his head was that people say chicago is where qbs go to die, and that he had been the 4th qb selected when he is in his mind the best one had already been weighing on him since the 3rd pick, but the more he actually thinks about it the happier he will be to be there, he could be the biggest star in one of the biggest football cities in the world. he could quite literally be a rockstar in that city if he lifts up their qb play.
there is also the fact that he is just like that, he rarely ever smiles. he has that stone cold killer football mentality. still love my niners pick but when being as realistic as possible, that fields was logically the 2nd best qb or the 1st best in this draft class.
