I don't think he gets another chance just because he's older now and the media will lose it if he does. Crazy what the difference is between reading what happened and a video of what happened. the easiest example to use is hardy --- if there was a video of what he did released... Zero chance he ever touched the nfl again. Especially since rice has been a relatively high character guy besides this incident.


if vick can come back im sure in a desperate situation some team might pick him up mid season if their RB goes down

i dont see a long term contract being offered

Usually i'd say jerry jones would give that opportunity but with the way our backfield lines up i doubt that happens

not defending him but he was a first time offender. if you go beat someone up youll get anger management/fine not years in prison (vick was a bad comparison but if he was brought back in i think anyone could be if they did what the court order them to do)
i do agree tho these athletes should be held to a higher standard since million idolize them.

beating up another guy and spitting in your fiance's face and beating her up are two completely different things and should be treated as such.

edit: if i went out and cracked some random guy's face, then went out and jacked some women's jaw, while being a first time offender, i know i'd be punished more severely for beating up the women. as it should be

i meant both when i wrote (beat someone up)

their really isnt a difference to the court system
aggravated assault is aggravated assault
but i agree it should be a harsher punishment if the victim is a women

That has to be one of the worst contract signings over the past few years. He was great with the Ravens, but injuries seemed to ruin his career, and now PEDs.
