Ride or die at this point
Man right! I mean we saw him play 1/2 a game and granted he did good but still a great risk. I think they are weighing heavy on Mason's experience with the team and knowing the offense, plus he had a pretty solid pre-season fwiw.
I like they are making moves instead of just rolling over and saving a draft pick for a potential replacement for Ben (whom may also flop)
In a perfect scenario Mason does pretty solid and when Ben comes back next year they groom Mason to be his ultimate replacement.
it was a perfect situation for the team to accept having a ''crap'' season since the fans had already accepted that the season was over it after losing AB, Bell and Big ben in one year
but instead they are giving hopes to the fans and to satisfy them you will have to have at least an 8-8 season when you are already 0-2, they are to go 8-6 for the rest of the season
if they end up in the last 10 teams of the nfl, the fans will be pissed in pittsburgh and heads will rolls in pitts.
They are putting their balls on the table with this move
just like you said its ride or die
