You tried to call Jalen Carter the best defensive player in the league. He has half the sack rate of chris jones. Jalen's not even the best DT in the league, much less the best defensive player. I'm still laughing at this absolute stretch while you try to tell me I'm stretchingabout the Cowboys trading away the *ACTUAL* best defensive player in the league.

I said I can make an argument. The league is loaded with talent. He's one of the best defensive players in the league aleady though lol. This is a guy with only 2 seasons under his belt after all. He's just getting started and was already pure dominance year 2....

Carter is generational. Already better last year in just his second season than Eagles legends like Fletcher Cox ever were and that's saying a lot. Without Carter, Eagles don't win the Super Bowl (or make it for that matter). He took over the game against the Rams to close them out and absolutely wrecked that game for LA. He also has among the highest double team %'s in the NFL last season (even had a high rate his rookie year).

1) Carter will soon be the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. Howie is making damn sure they can re-sign him to a monster deal. He'll reset the market for sure.
2) Guy gets held every play

Argue all ya want but Carter makes alllllll the difference on that defense. Without him forcing the o-line to double team him it makes it much harder for everyone else.

Cowboys will have one of the better offenses in football this season, assuming they're healthy....

And again, not worried at all how they looked with a win. They had UGLY wins last season too where they looked awful. The offense looked outstanding. The second half after the delay doesn't really mean much because that messed both teams up.

Hurts looked very good. The offense looked smooth and didn't even utilize AJ or DeVonta yet. Barkley and the o-line looked good, even though they lost Landon Dickerson as well.

The moral victories are something else. Let's not forget people were pushing to fire Sirianni at points last season. Its a looooong season.

Cowboys at best will be a 12th or 13th ranked defense this year, tops. Hurts did not look good, the offense looked awful. The only reason they won this game is because Lamb has stone hands.

The team that beat my chiefs last year should have put belt to ass on this cowboys team who just traded away the best defensive player in the league to an NFC contender.

Couple points to make out of this nonsense.

1. Jalen Carter is not even the top 30 best defensive players in this league. He has like 10.5 sacks in 32 games played, which is more than .25 sacks per game lower than Chris Jones, whose career sacks per game is .25 lower than Aaron Donald, who you tried to compare carter to. The gap from Chris Jones to Carter is literally the same gap from Donald to Chris Jones.
2. Carter is not generational. He's just a very good DT. You still win that super bowl without him though, because we (my chiefs) had no left tackle to help Mahomes, a problem we ran through all season last year, and were hand gifted from the league a top 5-10 LT talent in the draft.
3. Carter does not get held on every play, and his double/triple team rate is actually very low by comparison to guys like Chris Jones and Aaron Donald, yet he somehow puts up lower numbers than both, weird.
4. Micah parsons, who has a higher sacks per game rate than Aaron Donald, was just traded away from the team you played, and is a bigger loss of impact than Carter getting ejected.
5. Micah parsons is undeniably the best defensive player in this league, period, end of story.

Lastly, you're gloating about a 4 point win at home in a game you very easily could have lost, where your offensive was anemic and stagnant in portions of this game where you should have closed them out. The eagles of last year would have beaten this team by 25 points. The cowboys are a team that will struggle to sniff .500 this year, yikes.

Yo bro, i hate sixers and Phillies as much the next person but you're making urself look like a tool. CARTER IS DEFINITELY one of the best players in the league. Pretty sure he was all pro and or 2nd team last year. If you even watched the game or have any absolute understanding of football you would have notice how the middle of the dlone was getting 0 pressure and created massive pockets for dak. Cowboys also have one of the worst run games and were able to be half decent.

Carter not only effects the interior but he also makes every single defensive players job easier. From run def to other pass rushers and then secondary. Just stop

One of the best does not equal THE BEST. Holy shit guys. Also he's not even the best DT in the league, so.

Micah Parsons impacts this game more than anything, but to pass that all off and gloat about a 4 point home win over a .500 at best team? madness. Eagles fans be wild.

Simple question then to clear up your confusion. Is Micah Parsons better than Jalen Carter? Your answer, as everyone else's answer should be, is yes.

No he's not. Id rather have Carter in a heart beat. Micah is a pass rushers, a good one but he's not even an all situation backer. He's not a good run defender

Did you just say he's not top 30 in the league?

Jalen carter is an absolute game wrecker.

You're an idiot.
