lmao.. That's not saying much considering the Jets basically have me and two other idiots off the street playing QB for them, that's without Fitz at QB.

you play QB for the Jets? nice, congrats.

;)

That's like saying if the patriots signed Hilary Clinton she would be the least scandalous member of the team. While true, that statement really doesn't do mallet any favors.

ok i LOL'd

He's a developmental QB who hasn't shown any upside, because he hasn't been given any chance to show any. You'd be stealing if you guys could get a 4th round pick for him.

He's basically another Hoyer and Mallet, just a little younger right now. Hasn't shown anything while being with the Pats and is just somebody that "gets to learn behind Brady". There's only so much they can learn while sitting on the bench, even if it's sitting behind a great QB. Experience is the only way they'll learn, just like in anything and he has basically zero real NFL experience.

I was a big fan of Jimmy when he was coming out, but sitting on the bench and just learning a training camp/bench game day routine doesn't get you ready for the big time.

I'm not as high on him as some patriots fans, but for some reason I have a hunch he'll do OK

I had optimism that there existed a threshold where being a terrible person kept you from playing football despite your talent. Perhaps not.

Yeah, no amount of talent is worth that headache

Apparently Jags were just doing their homework on him, no talks of any deals.

Rice is genuinely remorseful for what he did. Hardy laughed when reporters asked him if he was sorry. Not to mention the act that Hardy did is much more severe than what Rice did. Couple all that with the disparity in talent and the two really aren't even comparable.
