In terms of ownership making excuses its a pretty easy decision. Nagy hasnt had a losing season and made playoffs 2 of 3 seasons. they got lambasted for firing Lovie after his 10-6 season and then being terrible with trestman.
Dont forget, this was a covid seasons where goldman sat out due to being high risk.
Our schedule next season is brutal and we probably win 6 games and get a proper rebuild.
My problem is should they fire Nagy and Pace next year it will make less logic.
They'll have drafted a QB or traded for one. Who Chicago will be married to for the next 5 years.
Keeping Pace and Nagy means for the next 5 years Chicago won't do anything.
The mccaskey's are the problem.
They fire the wrong people.
They hire the wrong people.
However they'll never sell because it's more about owning the team than winning a trophy.
Crow will taste good if i'm wrong.
But I won't be wrong.
