Either way, doesn't matter, he's getting like 500k more at most by doing this and it's probably actually, it is almost guaranteed it's his damn agent trying to get leverage.

Only debate I can really see with the new rookie wage scale is how much is guaranteed.

I don't see anything about it on Twitter?

Edit - Nevermind. Schefter tweeted 6 hours ago that he was signed.

Edit 2 - Details on it:

Quote
Green Bay - USC LB Nick Perry, the Packers' first-round pick, signed a four-year contract Friday afternoon, making him the last of the team's eight draft choices to reach a deal.

According to a source with knowledge of the contract, Perry's deal is worth almost $7.5 million and includes a signing bonus of just under $4 million. Perry's deal will also include a fifth-year team option that would require the Packers to pay him the average of the third-34th highest-paid players in the NFL at his position during his fourth season.

Perry was on the field for the first of three practices during the Packers' rookie orientation camp along with the other draft picks, 14 undrafted free agents and 29 tryout players.

There was some worry when we lost Bulaga and Sherrod in the same game, but that's about it. I actually had somebody tell me a few weeks back that Clifton going down early in the year was a huge blow, and laughed - I didn't realize anybody on Earth expected him to not miss significant time.
