Off the top of my head, I believe Brady's salary cap hit is not "friendly" in 2018, (this year & next it is low, so you can bet he will be here through the 2017 season). So come 2018 he will either be restructured, traded or cut. Jimmy G on the other hand is only through contract until 2018, he's set to make chump change compared to Brady so we may have to pay him alot more if we want to keep him around is my guess, not quite sure what will happen tho
Ya, I didn't think he'd be cheap. I'm hoping the Patriots mentality has rubbed off on him enough and he'll take a lower salary in order to play for a contender in his early years. It's the smarter move in the long run, he can get paid a decent amount for NE and if he puts together some winning seasons he can sign his next contract for a shit ton with some random bottom-feeder team.

My prediction on Jimmy.
he will play some more games next year. do solid.
]get traded for next to nothing.
because thats the patriots way
It's been the right call in the past. I know that most of NE's success is due to the BB system, but we still realllllly need to start looking at who's going to be our next franchise QB. Jimmy is the best out of all the randoms so far.`
