My point exactly. The whole campaign complaints are just ridiculous because CoD and BF have awful campaigns that are not even playable for the most part

Again, that's nitpicking. There's only one mode where they count towards the score. The AI is weak enough that you can completely ignore them without having to worry about them killing you, but they're also vital to the gameplay to help decrease your Titan build time.

Is the ai any challenge? Or they more like n64 perfect dark bots?

Wasting my time with a useless campaign is pointless. That is he reverse complaint many people had with Arkham Origins and similar games. It included a rather ridiculous and useless multiplayer when that effort could have been used to make the single player better.

AI Titans just got a huge buff so they can actually do some damage now. AI Infantry isn't going to be an issue unless you're weak, in which case they can finish you off.

Who's to say it would of been pointless? That's getting a bit ahead. Props to the devs that actually put out complete games imo rather than play by that logic. Idk is what it is. Hopefully they do more with it on future games.

Yes. Your titan is on a timer amd killing the various enemies (grunts, spectres, pilots, titans) takes away seconds from your build time

AI helps keep the game fast paced. There's one Deathmatch mode where they don't matter and points are only for Pilot kills. It ends up with people camping and waiting for their Titans instead of actually playing hard. Presence of minions helps people who don't camp get their Titan up first and beat campers.

You haven't played the game, this conversation is pointless lol. I'd much rather have a dev focus 100% on the multiplayer aspect for a shooter, any real gamer would. It's pointless and stupid spending half your time and resources building a campaign with a shit story and little to no replay value. When was the last time a FPS (console) had a good campaign? Maybe 2007 with Halo 3? I can easily get a couple hundred hours of gameplay out of a multiplayer I enjoy, I'll get maybe six out of any campaign on the hardest difficulty. Wouldn't any logical gamer rather have them putting all their efforts into the hundreds of hours over them creating a campaign worth 6-12 hours of gameplay that takes away from the game as a whole?

As someone who is a fan of all types of video games I disagree. I think the best games ever made have a good combination of both. Gears of War is easily my favorite campaign to play and the online play up until Judgement was amazing. (Minus the terrible server situation in the beginning for 2)

Games like COD dont need it. Nobody plays that shit. I honestly would, but after MW2 the campaign wasnt even worth the time to learn guns or anything.

If you think that putting a really solid single player into TitanFall would have been a bad idea youre crazy. Games like TitanFall will always do poorly in comparison to COD because there is no reason to get into the game, there is no story to get into and have feelings about and when you design a FPS without feeling you get COD. and if your game isnt COD enough (Like Battlefield) you will fail because of the mass market COD already has.
