Everything is chill for now at work. Still going to be looking for different work, but at least I have a job still.

Most seasonings won't add that much. Pepper, lowrys, basil, thyme, all that stuff is super flavorful in small amounts. Rubbed on chicken especially for losing some lbs

I sounds like you should definitely start looking for a new job, since like bryan said, have a new one lined up before you quit (I learned that the hard way as a teenager lol). And like Mangina said, it seems like this job causes you to do a lot of complaining because it's a pretty shitty job, so you should probably start looking elsewhere anyway.

It is a good job, and I really do enjoy the work. I do need to start looking elsewhere, this isn't what I want to be doing forever. Fuck nursing though, I've seen enough of this field to know it's not where I want to be. It all went better than expected today. She told me that I was invaluable and that she needed me there. She was just throwing a fit because I'd been not quite myself for a few weeks. Just assured her that family issues would interfere with my work anymore. Had some crazy shit go down with my brother a few weeks ago and I've had to be out of the office a lot dealing with his fucking ridiculousness. Obviously I can't foresee if something like this shit is going to happen again, but I'm just going to have to trust my parents to take care of it without me.

The no holidays/benefits shit is ridiculous and I would like to find a job that actually helps me out there. She's far too greedy to ever do any of that.

Benefits are worth an extra 15-18k to your salary, I'd definitely try to find somewhere with a nice package. Especially health insurance for you since you have a kid, but definitely 401k matching too. It's basically free money, and there aren't too many things more important than saving for retirement.

Since we're talking about jobs, where can I get a job that pays like $18-$20 a hour rofl

Uh, I've been the best at my position of any job that I have done. I run a street hockey league, this will be the 4th year coming up. idk


Getting my CDL is something I have as a backup plan if college fails, they start at $19 hour, lots of jobs hiring for it too (18 wheelers, though I'd like to avoid driving one of those things).
