Even iron phoenix (cool points if u ever even heard of it) costs way less back in the day than any normal single player/online game
The problem is that there's a lot of people that want really stupid shit in the game that complain constantly. They just added in small emblems for Titans, but people are still complaining because they're not big enough or they want to be able to fully choose the colors. Things like that work fine in FFA modes, but FFA doesn't work in Titanfall. It's also a military color scheme, so red vs blue variations like in TF2 don't work.
Same type of people with customizing your Titan. Three types - speed and mobility, damage and defense, balanced. People want more, but I have yet to see anybody suggest one that would fit in without breaking the balance.
I would have loved a real campaign, especially in a new universe like this that has great potential. But it's not the end of the world that it lacks one. I have gotten way more than $60 worth of entertainment out of the game and will continue to do so.
