That's our main weakness right now. We need a spark in the return game. I wouldn't mind if Houston signed both Stephen McGee and Jordan Shipley. According to the local radio station, the Texans were pleased with both but I didn't hear if they signed any of them yet. Only signing so far has been Terrell McClain. The only problem with McClain playing Nose Tackle is his struggles against the run. He's more suited as a pass rusher. Maybe he can play the nose during passing situations (3rd and long). He's talented despite being cut by two teams already. I think Wade Phillips will get the most out of him.

If Shipley was healthy, I'd love for him to be on the Texans. Great player. Have no idea who McClain is, but I hope he'll make an impact.

The bye week wasn't so bad. I'm glad they got it out the way. It's time to make a run for the 1st seed in the AFC.

We need to get Garrett Graham more involved in the offense. James Casey and Garrett Graham are big mismatches for the defense. The Texans are at their best when Schaub completes a pass to 7 or 8 different players. Houston has so many weapons and we finally got to see it come alive against Baltimore. It was exciting to watch against the Broncos earlier in the year.

I don't mind when Kubiak wants to run the ball 30 or 40 times a game if it works, but against the Jets and Packers the run game was getting shut down and he still tried to run way too much. Those were our two worst games of the season on offense. Only scoring 23 points against the Jets and 17 points against the Packers (not counting the blocked punt for a TD). We should have scored way more in those games.

Matt Schaub is capable of being an elite quarterback if given the chance. People forget that Schaub led the NFL in passing yards and Andre Johnson led the NFL in receiving yards not that long ago (2009). We've got a great passing game when it's utilized properly. We should be seeing Kevin Water, Owen Daniels, James Casey, Garrett Graham, DeVier Posey, Lestar Jean and Keshawn Martin all making plays. Arian Foster getting his receptions out of the backfield as well.

The Texans will improve to 7-1 if they beat the Bills on Sunday and I still feel like they haven't even played close to their best football yet. Houston has the potential to have the number one scoring offense in the league. Only the Patriots and Giants have scored more points than the Texans this season but those two teams haven't had their bye week yet (one extra game played). Houston has a chance to lead the NFL in most points scored this season. We've only seen flashes of offensive greatness against Baltimore and Denver, but we need to see it every game and against top quality opponents.

cant remember what the exact stats were, but when OD had 4 or more catches in a game, they've only lost one game. we need to spread the ball to different receivers. id like to see arian foster more in the passing game(he hasnt done much this season in the passing game except one TD that was in the RZ)

You're right. I don't want to see Kubiak coming out with a run, run, play-action pass. Run, run, play-action pass on multiple offensive possessions. He's got to mix it up like he did against Baltimore and Denver. Those were his two best play-calling games of the season. More passes on first and second downs is nice to see sometimes. He can pound the ball and run a lot whenever he wants with two talented backs in Foster and Tate. The opposing defense is gearing up for the Texans run game, but we should be making them pay with Schaub's accurate and strong arm. He's at that point of the season where all the rust is starting to come off from his long lay off with the injury last year.

I think that Arian Foster only has 1 reception in every game this season (6 catches in 6 games), except for a 6-catch game against the Jaguars. He has 12 on the year which is way too low for him. He should be hauling in 4 or 5 catches a game. He's too good not to use in the short-yardage passing game.
