Why do they bring former refs on to analyze these? They never disagree with the refs. This was a bad call. I don’t care about the angle. The field has yard markers for a reason

The play shouldn't have been blown dead, and even in games where it's an obvious forward pass the refs typically call it dead AFTER there's been a clear recovery in the event the call was wrong.

I think the fact that it was called dead had more to do with the final result than anything else. At this point we might as well tank for Marvin Harrison JR.
